Lagos Starts Lekki Gardens Buildings Structural Stability Test

Nine days after a five-storey building under construction belonging to Lekki Gardens collapsed and killed at least 34 people leaving many injured, the Lagos State Government yesterday commenced a Structural Stability Teston existing structures in Lekki Gardens in Eti-Osa Local Government, to ascertain the strength of the buildings.

Officials of the State Material Testing Laboratory, LSMTL, were spotted conducting several tests on the buildings yesterday.
